Detailed Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will meet your safari guide and begin your journey to Kibale Forest National Park, famous for its rich primate population and tropical rainforest. Enjoy scenic views of tea plantations, local villages, and rolling hills along the way. Arrive at the lodge in the evening for relaxation and dinner.

Day 2
Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Wetland Walk

After breakfast, head to Kibale Forest headquarters for a briefing before starting your chimpanzee trekking adventure. After lunch, enjoy a guided walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for its rich birdlife and community experiences.

Day 3
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 4

The cruise offers excellent sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous bird species along the shores.

Day 5
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, continue your safari journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Drive through the Ishasha sector, famous for tree-climbing lions, before proceeding to Bwindi through scenic highlands and local communities.

Day 6
Mountain Gorilla Trekking Experience

After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering the forest for gorilla trekking. Return to the lodge for relaxation after the trek.

Game Drive, Walking Safari and Ankole Cattle Experience

Later, enjoy a guided walking safari for a closer encounter with nature and wildlife. In the evening, visit a local community for an Ankole cattle experience, interact with local herdsmen, and learn about the traditional cattle-keeping culture of western Uganda.

Return to Entebbe
